2 Modes of Access
Besides the PIN code, you can also control the unlock by Populife App via Bluetooth. Your phone is the key now, and you do NOT have to make a batch of physical keys any more.
Guest Keys
The Visitor Mode allow you to share the permanent or temporary access of Bluetooth key or PIN code to your family, friends or guests in Populife App, anytime, anywhere. This will bring convenience to those owners who leaves the house but with the need of guests accessing or such as cleaners.
Privacy Mode
We carefully set the privacy mode, where any user is on the back side of the product (inside the door) can switch on this mode by long pressing the button near the bottom.
Auto Re-locking
Unlike other locks, Populife Smart Deadbolt can ensure the safety of your house by automatically re-locking the door after you leave.
Decoy Code
Users can enter up to 10 digits before or after the correct password to prevent someone from peeking your password.
Emegency Power Supply
The Populife Smart Deadbolt reserved charging port for a 9-volt alkaline battery. The benefit of this is ensuring the user can still unlock the deadbolt if its battery is drained.
Long Lasting Battery
The batteries can support up to 10,000 operations of unlocking/locking (about 12 months). Bluetooth Low Energy has been applied in the Populife Smart Deadbolt, which therefore will lead to less power consumption.
Water Proof
The Populife Smart Deadbolt wih IP 65 certificated ability including totally protected against dust as well as protected against low pressure jets of water from all directions, limited ingress permitted.
Light Up Key Pad
The LEDS light up when the touch panel is used to unlock the keypad, allowing night-time users to see the numeric keypad clearly in low light conditions

The "Populife" app allows access control of the smart deadbolt from anywhere. You can schedule and share PIN codes or digital keys easily over the phone with your friends, family, and even your guests coming from overseas.
*Remote access share works without a Wifi gateway.

Can I pair the lock on different phones?
One lock can only be paired with one account on a phone via Bluetooth. If you want to add it on a different phone, you have to delete it in the app from the old phone first and then add it again on another.
How far away can I be to control the lock effectively?
We suggest less than 9m. If there are obstacles between the phone and the lock, please step closer.
How can I share the lock with others like family members?
After you add a lock successfully on your phone, you can share it by sending an ekey to another REGISTERED account in the Populife App. Also, you can generate a keypad passcode and share it with others via SMS or other social Apps.
What if the battery dies and the keybox is closed?
Populife Smart Deadbolt is equipped with low-power Bluetooth technology, providing up to 24 months of battery life. At 20% battery level, the keypad flashes and the Populife App displays the remaining power.
And in case of emergency, simply use a 9V battery to power up your keybox. With Populife Smart Deadbolt, you'll never have to worry about losing access to your valuables again!
